What attractions are free of charge after purchasing the arm-band?

Almost all of the attractions are free of charge after purchasing the daily arm-band. Besides ‘big attractions’ there are some coin-slot machines (ability attractions for example), and some to which admission is available for cash (for instance Go-kart). These attractions are in addition as extra opportunity besides the ‘big ones’.

Why daily arm-bands to be purchased are based on height requirement?

Height requirements are defined by the producers of the attractions on safety reasons. Height requirements are defined since users are safely fixed in many attractions. This height requirement may vary regarding different attractions. We kindly ask for our visitors to consider that we are committed to take safety as top priority and therefore the rule of height requirement must be kept!

Can arm-bands be purchased for traveller’s cheques?

From 1st May 2007 arm-bands can be purchased for traveller’s cheque on condition that only the owner (stated on cheque) can buy off admission-tickets for the invoice made on purchase must be signed.

Does Amusement Park accept other kind of transfer-tickets or vouchers?

From 22nd May 2008 we also accept the following transfer-tickets and vouchers: ‘Ticket Cultura’ and ‘Ticket Top Premium’ and from 1st July 2008 ‘Sodexho Pass Gift’ and ‘Sodexho Pass Extra’ too. We do make examinations on further cash-free payment solutions.

Is bank-card payment available?

Currently four of our cashiers are awaiting visitors willing to pay with bank-card.

Are domestics animals allowed into the Area of the Amusement Park?

Considering safety of visitors and cleanness of the Park domestic animals are strictly forbidden to enter.

Is food allowed to bring with into the area of the Amusement Park?

For a while yes but in as the newness of the season 2008 one place serving hot food inside the area of the Park and several mobile seller providing high-standard catering services. From the year 2009 a restaurant is awaiting our visitors within the area of the Park. The Park is not taking the responsibility of the food brought with into the area of Park.

Unfortunately not yet, but we are working on this issue.

Is photo-shooting and video record allowed inside the Park?

For domestic use only, in any other case written approval of the Amusement Park is obligatory!

What is the way of inquiring group discount?

Inquiry of group discount is to be done in writing (info@vidampark.hu), stating the exact date and number of visitors. We send you a written answer on reconsideration of the group discount. This way of dealing was elaborated in order to make admission easier and smoother and more convenient for there is a separate gate for entrance of groups with previous written confirmation.

What are newness’ of the Park?

At the end of the season in 2008 we made a communal place where different even spacious events can be organized and the issue of quality catering has been solved also in the same year, so visitors may enjoy gastronomic pleasures offered by this new restaurant besides renovated buffets.

Basic point of view of season opening of 2009 is open up with families and mostly with smaller children (between 90 cm and the age of12) therefore a so-called Jungle Fairy Park was worked out. Idea of this theme park for young children is based on the fact that many of our visitors have young children for whom we had not so many attraction to offer for till now the Park had only a so-called Children-Garden to offer as service. Therefore we modified the unused app. 4 000 m2 area within the Park surround the Dark Ride and evolved the new ‘Jungle Park” where young children can have fun.

Newness Light Railway and Water Dodgem and also the attractive Fun House – Jungle Gym and a huge sand-pit besides many other game opportunities in jungle-style coming soon.

We are planning to introduce such new service this year.

Why good quality pictures are not available made during adventures (e.g. riding)?

This is a right claim, so we are planning to solve this issue via automatics.

What are the bases of price-definition of arm-bands?

The Park is in competitive situation and de jure not receiving subvention. Maintenance of the Park takes considerable amount of money covered by the income of Park including mainly sales of arm-bands.

Price level is determined by management considering the followings:

- self-sustaining, everlasting improvement and development
- high-standard, always progressing services: quality catering, modern manifold attractions, etc.
- living standard of Hungary, operative costs, price level of foreign big amusement and theme parks.

Continuous special offers for those visitors for whom the standard price level would mean too high load.

Is there a place for first aid in the Amusement Park?

There is a first aid place next to the Magic Castle and Barrel. Opening hours: during the Amusement Park's operational time. You can take this service free if you have any health problems (injury, sick, disease, etc).
